How to Install python-pyudev software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

python-pyudev software package provides Python bindings for libudev, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install python-pyudev

python-pyudev is installed in your system.

Make ensure the python-pyudev package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-pyudev *

You will get with python-pyudev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
